The dress is lovely to look at and easy to wear. The arms are not scratchy material, which is a bonus. The sparkles are individually sewn, but fall off easily. They could be better attached, but there are plenty of them. I am wearing as the Mother of the Bride and the color (blush) and bling are just perfect. It is an outdoor wedding in FL in March, so the sleeves were a good choice with the possibility of a breeze to cool it down. The only alterations I needed was to have the length shortened an inch. If the wedding was indoors, the length would have been fine. I did not want it to drag on the ground or cement outside.I ordered the wrong size so I ended up returning this but it seemed like a very nice dressI got this for my mom to wear at my wedding. It is a beautiful dark purple and is so sparkly on top. She loves that it has a zipper in the back and it is light and soft. She reports that it is comfortable and it flows well on her body. We looked at quite a few dresses and this one was an easy choice. I would highly recommend it.I ordered this in Champaign for daughters wedding. I liked the dress, nice color, comfortable, fit true to size and with heels, the length was good. However, I ended up returning it because my daughter did not like it on me. Roamans/Amazon made returning it simple and sent refund within the week. I recommend this dress and Roamans. I’ve purchased clothing from them for years (even before Amazon).I needed a long formal dress to wear to two evening weddings that I have coming up this Spring/Summer. I was worried about black looking too heavy for Spring/Summer but the chiffon at the bottom really makes the dress seem more light and airy. I like the little bit of sequins at the top lace part for a bit of sparkle but not too flashy. I ordered the 16W since I am very top heavy (38E-F) and thought this would give more room at the top. I'm very happy with the size and there is also a bit of stretch to the top area of fabric covered by lace before the chiffon starts - this helps give more room in the bust. I may have been able to size down one size but wanted to make sure it was not too tight in the chest area. The dress is probably only considered a tea-length dress but on me, I'm 5'3'', it does come to the floor. It may not reach the floor if I wear heels but will still look cute with some high heel strappy sandals and I could wear with flats as well since not too long.The dress was a very pretty color, however, I was very disappointed in the quality for the price. For this reason, I returned the dress.I love the dress and for the first time something is too big for me. I'm not able to wear it for my son's wedding so I ordered a smaller size and it fits much better in the chest/armpit area which in turn shortens the length to where it should be.This dress ran a bit on the small side, so I ordered a size larger than normal. The 20W is a touch large, but could easily be taken in on the sides. I'm 5'7" 200 lbs and wanted to something that draped over my too large stomach--the bodice is stretchy and the lace/sequin top flowed nicely over my problem area. At my height the skirt won't be too long with a 1-2" heel. The True Blue color is pretty. I had tried a navy color in an Alex Evenings dress (size18W) that fit well, but the navy was very dark. So this brighter color was more appropriate for a mother-of-the-groom evening wedding. I feel very comfortable in this dress, and am happy. The price was considerably less than other brands, which is a plus since I will likely only wear it one time.
